Getting used to Maya’s workflows by creating a simple animation with custom textures and using particle systems.
Started by making the marbles on the circle plane move so that they wouldn’t hit each other and be offset. Then modeled the hourglass and experimented using a particle system in Maya to simulate the flow of marbles. Created materials using Redshift and exported the animation to later composite it on Adobe Premier, adding the final touches like the vinaigrette and background drop.
