The aim of this course was to introduce students to digital fabrication through creating small projects with Grasshopper scripting and producing them with digital fabrication techniques such as 3D printing and laser cutting.
This shape was scripted in Grasshopper. The dimensions of the cutting ellipsoids are varied depending on each ellipsoids central point in relation to an external attractor point. Therefore the larger the distance between the two points the larger the dimension of the cutting ellipsoid to the main sphere.
