This project was created in collaboration with 5 other students at UTS Animal Logic Academy were I was the Team Leader. In 6 weeks, we developed a pitch for a multiplayer computer game.
Main roles:
Team Leader
Organising and running daily team meetings
Creating weekly slideshow templates to show progress of team to cohort, where each member of the group was encouraged to fill a slide with images or videos of what they had been up to.
Scheduling timeline, keeping gantt chart process in check and updating trello platform with tasks.
Tech RnD
Applied a multiplayer steam setup in UE4 to play the game. This way all team members could hop into the same game remotely and do testing.
Tested the use of webcams in conjunction with UE4. Using a smart filter to change a players background to green so that it could be composited out in real time in UE4. This way players don’t need a physical green screen to become immersed in the game.
Helping bring everything together into the master file
Idea Development
Storyboarding and brainstorming order of final video and shots needed to complete with fellow team member Heath Tyler
